Well, I have been on vacation for the last couple of weeks. I actually wrote a post on the evening before I left town and was unable to get the link to work. So, it didn’t happen.
Now I am trying to catch up a bit and let you know what has been going on.
Traveling just throws me off schedule…

I spent a week with my family in Maryland and had a great time. I made sure to take food on the plane (both times) so that I wouldn’t have to rely on food in the airports--which by the way didn’t even sell soy milk!
When I got to Maryland we went to the store so I could buy food for the week. It was simple: salad, cans of beans, brown rice, fruit, whole wheat tortillas, etc. So I’m happy to say that I didn’t have any problem staying true to my plant-based vegan lifestyle. Yay!
Leaving them was hard, but it was even harder to go back to work. While I was gone a decision was made by management that overtime was mandatory. So this decision has also thrown me off my regular schedule.
For a little while I think my brain has shut down a bit coping with my busy schedule. So if you don’t see much from me that is why. Just trust that I will get back to blogging about what I really am passionate about: health & nutrition.
This week one of my friends posted this ad on facebook. I was shocked that meat is being marketed to children as a toy. Check out the link below and let me know what you think.

Good job staying plant-based while traveling! It can be a challenge, but is so worth it.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the encouragement. I was really proud of myself and felt great after all the traveling!
DeleteGlad that the world is getting more vegan-friendly. People can now stay fit and healthy while traveling! Hope your sked will be back to normal soon.
